Guide to Raising Institutional Private Capital
The Guide to Raising Institutional Private Capital is a comprehensive course designed to teach biotech CEOs and CFOs of companies that have already raised a Series A and are preparing for a Series B or later on the most effective strategies for approaching institutional investors. The goal is to maximize the chances of successfully completing a significant private financing round. Leveraging Locust Walk’s proven experience, participants will learn how to effectively position the company’s story, strategy, and value proposition for institutional investors. The course covers essential topics, including accurately calculating financing needs and use of proceeds, identifying appropriate institutional investors to target as a lead or syndicate member, understanding valuation methodologies for financings, dissecting the various components of a financing term sheet and their interactions, and cap table modeling.
