Jacqui Kappler currently serves as the Chief Democratic Counsel for the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Courts, IP, and the Internet. She has worked for the House Judiciary Committee since March of 2021, where she served as Oversight Counsel prior to moving to the IP Subcommittee. Before that, Jacqui was Legislative Director and Deputy Chief of Staff for IP Subcommittee Ranking Member Hank Johnson from 2018 to 2021. She began her policy career with the American Association for Justice, where she specialized in patent and cybersecurity policy.
