Virginia McMillin serves as Senior Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where she provides strategic policy advice and engages with lawmakers to increase access to life-changing medicines for patients in the United States and internationally. Previously, Virginia served in the White House as Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs, where she negotiated passage of the No Surprises Act and the CARES Act. Before that, Virginia served on the United States Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee under Senators Alexander and Enzi. In her work as a Senior Health Policy Advisor, Virginia was a lead drafter and negotiator of the Lower Health Care Costs Act, the Patient Right to Know Drug Prices Act, and the Substance Use Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act.
