After beginning my career at law firms honing my intellectual property skills for several years, I transitioned to in-house intellectual property work & product development at Myriad Genetics for 5 years. In 2007, I took a position at Oryzon Genomics in Barcelona Spain as Director of Intellectual Property where I lead partnering efforts, redesigning the companies business model, and building a drug discovery program for 4 years. When we landed back in the US in 2011, I consulted with numerous start-up companies, mainly in the Salt Lake City Area for several years. In 2014, I started with Lipocine where I eventually became Director of Intellectual Property and made key contributions to the discovery of the beneficial effects of androgens in fatty liver disease in men, which is now the subject of a P2 trial in NASH. Recently I started at TechLink to learn licensing skills.
