Driven by the market need in the treatment of Human papilloma virus (HPV)-associated warts, our team named “Anison”, a group of researchers from Abo Akademi University, Finland had developed a natural ointment/ cream targeting those warts. Subsequent proof of concept studies showed that our product successfully removed all kinds of warts on both animals and human volunteers without any side-effects and recurrence. The work was done under the TUTLI funding, which was granted to us by Business Finland in January 2018. We had isolated the refined extract from a medicinal plant and formulated a natural ointment/ cream for the treatment of HPV warts. We are currently involved in the creation of a start-up in 2020 to initiate the further development & marketing of the ointment for warts.
