Laura Housman supports clients with research and analysis that span the full spectrum of healthcare sectors and stakeholders. She applies her background in evidence generation, commercialization and strategy to a broad range of client projects across diagnostics, medical devices, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
Before joining Avalere, Laura held a variety of leadership positions in industry and academia, including at Novartis where she led a team in access and health outcomes in support of molecular diagnostics and targeted therapies. Laura has launched over 30 diagnostic, device and services and has provided considerable input into a range of IVD products in the U.S. and global markets.
Laura has a BA in economics, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the School of Public Health at Boston University.
