Ms Cao Ping is the Chief Business Officer and Vice President of Business Development for Henlius Biotech. In this role, she has led the development and execution of global business strategies and built up the in-licensing, out-licensing, and strategic alliance function teams. In less than 4 years, she has led her BD team to accomplish 29 license deals with $250M upfront and $1.5B deal size covering more than 100 countries. In 2022, her BD team won the “BD of the year” award by Generic bulletin.
Ms Cao Ping graduated from Tianjin University with a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering, a master's degree in chemical engineering, and a master's degree in organic chemistry from Michigan State University. Prior to joining Henlius, she worked at Tyger Scientific, Ferro, Bristol-Myer Squibb (BMS) and Abzena, serving as Marketing Director, Senior Manager of Business Development, Deputy Director of Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and Senior Director of Business Development.
