Paul Jeffrey, PharmD

Paul Jeffrey is an experienced consultant, providing reimbursement-related so what’s on Medicare/Medicaid managed care practices, regulation and compliance, and financing of transformative therapies. For more than two decades he was the senior director of Pharmacy for MassHealth, the Massachusetts Medicaid program with more than 1,000,000 lives under direct management and another 800,000 individuals receiving care through managed Medicaid partners. In his role, Paul supported pharmacy business development for UMAss Chan Medical School, including developing and maintaining medication therapy management programs, evidence-based formularies, and clinical call centers. In his role he has worked with team members to create and implement a variety of coverage processes, including for prior authorization review and adjudication, as well as prospective and retrospective drug utilization reviews.
