Tahera Kan, MS

Tahera Kan is Vice President, Precision Medicine and Enabling Technology, Janssen Business Development where she leads a team responsible for partnerships & transactions in strategic areas of Precision Medicine, Diagnostics, Data Science and AI/ML solutions, Digital Tech solutions & Algorithms, and Enabling Tech Discovery platforms. She has oversight of transactions, licensing and partnership agreements and ongoing alliance management across therapeutic areas with Commercial, R&D, data science to further enhance the delivery of highly innovative offerings, to better serve patients in diseases of high unmet medical needs.

With more than 27 years of industry experience, Tahera has worked across countries, functions and sectors delivering and contributing to 55+ in-licensing, acquisition, divestiture & early-stage deals. She earned a degree in Biochemistry, as well as an MBA before undertaking an Immunology diploma at Pompidou/Descartes Hospital, Paris and an Oncogenetics diploma at Institut Curie Paris.
