Aarash has over a decade of experience in systems biology and bioinformatics, applying mechanistic and statistical models to omics data. His computational predictions have led to numerous scientific discoveries and successful pre-clinical and IRB-approved research studies. Aarash has served as the Principal Investigator on 12 grants from the NIH and Michael J. Fox Foundation with a cumulative funding of $14M since 2014. He has published 30+ peer-reviewed publications with over 6,000 citations, including several being listed in the top 1% of cited papers in their respective fields. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. from UC San Diego, was awarded the Charles Lee Powell Foundation fellowship, and is a Gordon Scholar in engineering leadership.
