Dr. Jin-San Yoo is CEO, President and Founder of PharmAbcine. He is acting an expert at MAB working group of EDQM. He also is acting as advisory board and has been a member of evaluation committee of MFDS. He has >20 years of biopharm/biotech experience. As the head of Therapeutic Antibody Division, he had established all necessary infrastructures, talented pool and competitive pipelines at LG Chem R&D Park. As a principal investigator and director of The Therapeutic Antibody Center at KRIBB, he leaded his research team to focus on development of novel therapeutic antibodies.
Dr. Yoo worked with Dr. Bill Balch as TSRI Senior Associate at the department of Cell Biology of The Scripps Research Institute. Before Scripps, he was HHMI Associate with Dr. Richard Scheller at Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Stanford University School of Medicine for 3 years. He was trained as Intern at Dr. Peter Gruss lab for developmental biology and, MS, PhD and MPI-Fellow in the field of molecular cell biology for intracellular membrane transport at Dr. Dieter Gallwitz lab at Max-Planck-Institute for BioPhysical Chemistry. Dr. Yoo studied both microbiology and organic chemistry as undergraduate at the Georg-August-University Göttingen, Germany.
