Terry Hermiston, PhD

Dr. Hermiston has over 25 years of industry experience, most recently as the Site Head for Bayer HealthCare's US Innovation Center in San Francisco, CA and their former VP of Biologics Research in the US. Upon retiring from Bayer, Dr. Hermiston assembled a world class research and development organization and licensed the FVIIa program from Bayer (the basis for the lead clinical candidate, CT-001) to create Coagulant Therapeutics, a company dedicated to developing treatments to acute bleeds. Dr. Hermiston and his team have gone on to create a novel antibody library to activated protein C that has generated lead molecules for both trauma (CT-003) and Hemophilia (CT-004). With these assets and their supporting publications, Dr. Hermiston is seeking funding to advance these programs to the clinic.
