Dr. Rosen serves as Professor of Molecular Medicine at The Scripps Research Institute where he investigates the chemical biology of receptor signaling. In collaboration with Dr. Edward Roberts (Scripps) his work led to the invention of ozanimod (Zeposia), an agent now approved for treatment of multiple sclerosis and ulcerative colitis and marketed by Bristol Myers Squibb. Two additional compounds from the Rosen and Roberts labs are in clinical trials (NMRA-140 for Major Depressive Disorder, and NMRA-511 for Anxiety Disorders). Prior to joining The Scripps Research Institute Dr. Rosen served in various capacities at Merck Research Laboratories. Dr. Rosen was a scientific founder of Receptos, and Blackthorn (now Neumora) Therapeutics.
