Ginger co-founded Gold Nest capital in Singapore in 2017 and serves as the Portfolio Manager of its Life Sciences Growth fund, a fund that invests in early growth stage technologies and helps entrepreneurs gain access to Asian investors and markets.
In 2012, she co-founded Ginward, a corporate finance and consultancy company, from the observation that young tech companies often lack access to investments, international commercial reach, experience in business development, and best practices in governance, all vital for translating IP to business success.
Prior to Ginward, Ginger enjoyed a two-decade long career in investment banking, specializing in advisory, structuring investment opportunities and fund raising for institutional investors, as well as structuring financing proposals and risk management solutions for large to small corporations of diversified industries. Her responsibilities span from building teams and commercial activities to understanding the needs of clients and creating tailored solutions suitable for clients from different industries.
She was Managing Director and Head of US Corporates Sales based in NYC, Head of China Sales and Head of Asia Structured Finance activities based in Hong Kong within the Capital Markets group of Credit Agricole Investment Banking Group.
Furthermore, Ginger served as Vice President at Citigroup’s Capital Markets Division where she was responsible for originating, underwriting, and marketing of investment products for global Institutional Investors, supra-nationals and global financial institutions.
Ginger has lived and worked in NYC, LA, Hong Kong, London and Singapore.
She graduated from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in Finance and International Finance.
