Eric Gascho is the Senior Vice President, Policy and Government Affairs for the National Health Council. He has been with the organization since August Eric Gascho is the Senior Vice President, Policy and Government Affairs, for the National Health Council (NHC). Since joining the NHC team in August 2009, Gascho leads the NHC’s advocacy efforts by working with its member organizations to develop policy positions that seek to improve the lives of people with chronic diseases and disabilities. He also advocates for the aforementioned policies on Capitol Hill and within the executive branch. Gascho represents the NHC in the national media and the broader health care community through public speaking engagements and in coalitions. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Partnership to Protect Coverage and the NIH’s eCare Multiple Chronic Conditions Contract Management Board.
Prior to joining the NHC, he worked in the government relations department of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
Gascho earned his bachelor’s degrees in government and business management from the University of Redlands in California.
