Ben Chandhok

Ben is the Director of State Public Policy and Government Relations at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. In this role, Ben leads the company’s assessment of state public policy issues and engagement with state and local governments. Ben was most recently the State Government Affairs Director of the Eastern Region at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) representing the biotechnology industry before state legislatures throughout the eastern third of the United States. Prior to joining BIO, Ben was the Senior Director of State Legislative Affairs at the Arthritis Foundation where he oversaw the organization's state advocacy program and staff. His prior experience also includes staff roles in both the Massachusetts and Rhode Island legislatures. Ben received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and B.A. from Case Western Reserve University. Ben lives with his family in Silver Spring, Maryland.
