David Mazzo, PhD

David J. Mazzo, Ph.D., is the Chief Executive Officer of Lisata Therapeutics, Inc., having joined the Company in January 2015. He is a pharmaceutical executive and strategic leader with broad experience in both large and small companies gained from working in a variety of multi-cultural and multi-lingual environments in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. He has held executive positions in R&D at large multinational companies such as Hoechst Marion Roussel and Schering-Plough as well as CEO positions in emerging pharmaceutical companies such as Chugai USA, Aeterna Zentaris and Regado Biosciences. He is recognized for his exceptional strategic, scientific and regulatory expertise, upon which he has amassed a track record of >35 years of successful global product development, registration and launch.
