Merle Fuchs (PhD) studied biology in Germany and the Netherlands and wrote her doctoral thesis under Nobel Laureate Manfred Eigen at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Natural Sciences in Göttingen (D) and at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla (USA).
Since 1997, Merle has worked in technology transfer with a focus on business development and financing. Since then, she has advised more than 500 innovative startups and technology-driven growth companies and co-founded seven high-tech startups. She has been an advisor to the Federal Ministry of Economics for many years, a member of the advisory boards of technology companies, a jury member of the Leibniz Association, a speaker, coach, and juror at various universities and in business, start-up, and innovation networks. In 2021, she founded PRAMOMOLECULAR and was awarded the title of "Impulsgeberin" by the Thuringian Ministry of Economics.
Merle enjoys traveling, cooking and urban farming.
