Registration includes access to: All three days of the breakout and plenary program, breakfast and lunch all three days, breaks and the Welcome and Sioux Falls (Wednesday night) receptions.  Please note that all summit meals, breaks and receptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are able to offer discounted registration rates for BIO members, employees from government agencies (federal, state, local and international) and attendees/students from accredited academic institutions. We will not be able to offer a one-day rate in 2014.

Invited speakers will receive separate instructions on how to complete their registration.

Attendees affiliated with accredited government or academic institutions.

Attendee will need to show proof through business card or organizational  photo ID on-site.

Academic/ Government attendees will need to use the BIO Coupon Code G847432744 during the registration process in order to receive the correct rate.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Those registrations using the code above will be audited weekly and BIO reserves the right to cancel without refund any registrations utilizing the code if they are not part of an academic institution or government. If you are unsure if you qualify, please email with any questions or concerns before completeing your registration.  

Please review these registration steps below before beginning your registration. If you have questions, please email:

  1. If you know or think you have a registration account with BIO, you can skip to the bottom and select the registration link. You will need to enter your email address and password into BIO's registration management system 'Personify'. If you cannot remember your password, you can use the 'Forgot Password' button. A link will be emailed so you may change your password.
  2. If you know you do not have a BIO registration account, you will select 'Forgot Password' and then you will select 'Create Account'. You will need to provide your individual information and you will need to link yourself to a company/organization. You may need to enter the same data twice, and we do apologize. After you have provided the individual and company/organization data, an email will be sent so that you may complete your registration. YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED without following the link in your email and providing credit card payment at the conclusion of the registration process.
  3. The registration fees for the 2014 Livestock Biotech Summit are collected in USD (U.S. Dollars) and are also refunded in USD. BIO cannot be responsible for the differences in the daily changing exchange rates between currencies nor can BIO be responsible for the differences in any refunds of payments due to cancellations.
  4. Cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing, email:, by August 29, 2014. A $199.00 processing and cancellation fee will be deducted for all cancellations received on or before August 29, 2014. We will not be able to honor cancellation notices received after August 29, 2014, but please remember that substitution requests may be submitted through September 10, 2014. All approved refunds will be processed as soon as possible, but we reserve the right to process refunds after the conference. Please note that BIO also reserves the right to alter this policy without prior notice.
  5. As noted above, substitutions without any penalty are allowed until September 10, 2014.
  6. Special rates for Academic / Government require the Coupon Code listed in the chart above.
  7. Speakers will receive instructions and/or coupon codes in order to complete their registration. They should not register if they have not received an email or document outlining their registration process.
